Over the past eight years I have concerned myself with the art of teaching. I've learned a great deal about working with students in the classroom, and helping them achieve their goals in computer animation. My students have ranged from 18-year-olds taking their first steps in 3D to seasoned professionals acquiring new skills. I've taught at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and am currently employed at Art Institute of California - San Francisco. In 2007 I also started teaching professional development workshops at Bay Area Video Coalition. Although I specialize in Maya and 3ds Max, I'm also fluent in many other areas, such as video editing and sound design. See my resume for more information.

In addition, I've developed a series of 3ds Max tutorials and made them available over the Internet. This has been a great success, both within the classroom and on the web. Beginning computer animators from around the world have sent me emails, thanking me for my tutorials. I'm very grateful for those responses, which helped encourage me to compile my work in the form of books. The first result was Harnessing 3ds Max 5, co-authored by Michele Bousquet. I revised it again a few years later to create Harnessing 3ds Max 8, with its terrific cover art by Joe Wehland. In between, I wrote another, shorter book which I consider to be my best: Foundations of 3ds Max 6. All were published by Autodesk Press. Harnessing 3ds max 5
